The Summer Series started with three races over the weekend of the 15th/16th May which were also the Blackwater weekend of the Sail East series. With light winds on both days it was a difficult call for the race officer.

Race 1 was a three hour race which had a mixed group at the front with line honours going to the "new" Thrust but with many of the smaller yachts not far behing the race winner was "Scallywag".

Race 2 was in very light winds and in some areas no wind at all, many yachts fell into these holes and a shortened course race again brought the smaller yachts to the forefront with the sonata's "The Apprentice" first and "Camel".

Sundays racing was agin short of wind and again a short race with everyone finished in just over two hours.  "Holding Pattern" had line honours but the smaller yachts once again took the first three places with "Thrust" second and Jalfrazi third the overall winner was once again "Scallywag".

Unfortunately the timing details were not available for race two and the elapsed times used are imaginary to comply with the finishing places.
